Nevada short-term lessor fees
Under NRS 482.313, a short-term lessor of passenger cars in Nevada must charge the renter a governmental services fee of 10 percent of the lease amount, plus any local fee required under NRS 244A.810 or 244A.860. The 10 percent base excludes government taxes and fees, fuel, delivery or handling, insurance and damage charges. The amount of each fee must be listed in the lease agreement, and the fees are reported and paid to the Department of Taxation quarterly.
In Car Rental Solutions, fees can be set as a percentage of the rental and taxes are configured by location, and each one prints as its own line on the agreement.
