- What’s included in the Marketing module?
- The Marketing section includes Coupons, Rate Codes, Export Customers, Export Renters, Reservations by Country reporting, and optional Promo Landing Pages to promote offers on your website.
- What is a coupon code?
- A coupon code is a simple and quick way to add a % or fixed amount discount with a Valid Thru expiration date. Renters can enter it on the website reservation form and the quote displays the discounted price when eligible.
- What is a rate code and how is it different from a coupon?
- A rate code is more detailed. It can have an effective date range or be set to never expire. It can be applied to all or only one affiliate website and may include extra benefits with the code. Like coupons, rate codes can also be configured for eligible vehicles and branches.
- Where do renters enter coupon codes or rate codes?
- On the website reservation form. If the promotion is valid and eligible, the system applies the discount automatically and updates the quote.
- What is “Export Customers”?
- Export Customers includes all customers who made a reservation on the website. Agencies can use exports for reporting, follow-ups, and marketing campaigns.
- What is “Export Renters”?
- Export Renters includes customers whose reservations were converted into rental agreements/contracts (completed rental customers). This helps agencies segment and market to renters based on real rental activity.
- What does “Reservations by Country” report show?
- It provides a report detailing the countries where website reservations originated. This helps agencies identify demand sources and target marketing by geography.
- What are Promo Landing Pages (optional)?
- Promo landing pages can be used to explain an offer and highlight the coupon code or rate code. Agencies can create banners or promotional materials and send traffic to a page built around the promotion.
